Pretty beaded necklace dating c.1950s. It has light blue, baroque style beads, with smaller dark blue and white beads spaced in between. The acrylic beads have a lovely irridescent finish and are attached by small metal hoops. Fastens with a roll-lock clasp so it's possible to double-up and wear it as a two-strand necklace as shown in the photographs below.
The rope-length necklace a favorite of Coco Chanel. It will look great worn with everything from high, round necklines to low, plunging necklines. And for those looking for the complete wardrobe, this length is a must.
Measures: Length 41" (104cm)
Condition: Very good. Some of the coating on the larger beads has worn away in places. Not noticeable when the necklace is on. Please 'click' on the photographs for a closer view.
