Adamley was founded more than fifty years ago and specialises in the hand screen printing of silk fabrics. Nestling in the foothills of the Pennines, amid the Cheshire countryside, sits the historic town of Macclesfield. Macclesfield has been famous for the past three hundred years for producing the finest silk cloth, which has been sold throughout the world. Adamley textiles is located in the village of Langley, two miles outside Macclesfield. Their manufacturing process uses water sourced from its own reservoir. Adamley boasts an archive of prints going back to the 1700s.
