Brown, polished corduroy clutch bag with gold-tone metal hardware. This is such an unusual vintage bag in that there are clasp levers on either side of the bag. The levers enable the bag to be opened fully as show in the photographs below.
There would originally have been braided handles which matched the braid on the front of the purse. You could easily replace the handles with brown braid but the bag sits very comfortably in the hand and is perfectly usable as a clutch bag, either carried under the arm or in the hand. The lining is brown cotton and there's one interior pocket with a metal zip fastener. Labelled 'Made in Italy'.
Measures:
Very good. There's a few scratches and tarnishing to the metal plate at the back. Includes FREE UK delivery!
